About Broken Bay Writers

Judy and Al live in the beautiful Broken Bay area of NSW, Australia. We are both budding writers and have set up this blog as an outlet for our self expression. We write about any subject that takes our fancy…

Al has been battling the fat thing all his adult life and now has a Lap Band.Share his experiences as he transitions from Big Al to Medium Al πŸ™‚

Judy is a Canadian living in Australia so you can share her unique perspective on the Great Southern Land. Warning, Judy hates spiders so they get special attention πŸ˜‰

We also like to cover motorcycles (life long passion for Al, new method of terror for Judy), travel, life and giving our opinions!

Please give us your feedback and comments!!!!!

Thanks!!! We had an acknowledgement of the application but nothing further. The 50 finalists are out so Judy did not make that.

    Hi Judy & Alan,

It’s great to find this website of yours! We met couple of times at Toastmaster in the Sydney… but have not had a chance to catch up again. Judy, hope you had a wonderful time at your daughter’s wedding!

Great writing & interesting topics. I’ll keep coming back for more πŸ™‚
    Hope things are well.

    Hi Nhu,

Thanks for the kind words. We certainly remember you. Are you still in Toastmasters? Judy had a great time at her daughter’s wedding.

Things are great, hope the same for you.

    Cheers!
    Al

    Judy,

It is so great to connect with you again. It’s funny how life’s journeys can connect old friends. I watch you blog to stay connected now, and enjoy reading about your exploits and experiences. You look and ‘sound’ so happy!
I have to tell you that I remember when our kids were so little – and telling you that my daughter was well behaved because of my parenting skills. Pfft! Then I had my son… I also remember apologizing for my earlier judgement.
I may be a slow learner, but everything comes more clearly with time.
I miss you, my friend. I look forward to seeing you again one day.
    Janice
