Al’s Progress

Stop press [22 June 2010]: I am no longer weighing in as a new technique which involves not focusing on food and weight. Eat well and the rest will follow. Thus, there will be no change here for some time now!

“Big” Al is being decommissioned

– we currently have “Decreasing” Al and soon to be “Bearly” Al!

The following ticker is updated regularly (typically weekly). Note: Al was 328 pounds when he started the Lap Band preparation (on Optifast), the 347 pounds was the highest recorded weight (while living on Alberta beef in Vancouver 🙂 To get kg, divide pounds by 2.2.

Thanks Scott! It is hard to get the cost together but worth it. In Australia, they are considering covering the cost in the public health system which will bring it to all who need it… lets hope they follow through!!!
